Name of Comet:C/2022 E3 (ZTF)
This information was confirmed by the report of the space exploration agency NASA
A rare comet is visible on February 1st, a comet that appears only once in 50,000 years. This comet can be seen with the naked eye this comet is coming from close proximity to the Sun, so all the dust in space appears green Don’t miss
What is ZTF?
Yes, that is correct. Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) was discovered by astronomers using the wide-field survey camera at the Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF) in early March of this year. Since its discovery, the comet has brightened substantially and is now visible in the northern constellation of Corona Borealis in predawn skies, although it is still too dim to be seen without a telescope. The fine telescopic image from December 19th shows the comet’s brighter greenish coma, short broad dust tail, and long faint ion tail stretching across a 2.5-degree wide field-of-view. As the comet continues its voyage through the inner Solar System, it will reach perihelion, its closest point to the Sun, on January 12th, and perigee, its closest point to Earth, on February 1st. The brightness of comets is notoriously unpredictable, but by then C/2022 E3 (ZTF) could potentially become visible to the naked eye in dark night skies.
Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) is a comet that was discovered by astronomers using the wide-field survey camera at the Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF) in early March of 2022. The discovery was made by the ZTF collaboration which consist of Caltech, IPAC, the Weizmann Institute of Science, the Oskar Klein Centre, the University of Maryland, the University of Washington, Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron and Humboldt University, Stockholm University, and laser laboratories in Paris and Lyon. The ZTF camera is capable of surveying the entire available sky every few nights, making it well suited for discovering transient objects such as comets.
it is likely that astronomers will continue to observe and study the comet as it approaches the inner solar system, in order to learn more about its composition and behavior. This may include taking images and spectra of the comet, measuring its brightness and determining its orbit, as well as studying its coma and tail. Additionally, it’s possible that the comet could become visible to the naked eye, in which case it could be observed by amateur astronomers as well.
